Michael Shane B Uzumaki’s plot intricately weaves together psychological horror, surrealism, and body horror as it follows Kirie Goshima, a high school student, and her boyfriend Shuichi Saito, as they experience the terrifying effects of a spiral curse in their town, Kurouzu-cho. The town, once peaceful and quiet, becomes consumed by the supernatural power of spirals. As the curse spreads, the spirals begin to twist the minds and bodies of the townspeople, leading to bizarre and horrific transformations. I hope if someday someone directs Hellstar Remina,wil make justice to that masterwork.
