It’s been a busy week for the brothers at Epsilon-Eta. On Saturday April 21st, Epsilon-Eta welcomed two new brothers into the bond. Congradulations:
- Alex Freska, EH 1293
- Michael Miwa, EH 1294
It was a quick transition for the new brothers as we planned for the next big event on our agenda. The annual Relay for Life at RPI occurred this past weekend, April 27th-28th, with an all-night relay to help fight cancer, and engineer more birthdays. As a team, Lambda Chi Alpha, Epsilon-Eta raised $4,742 to battle cancer, and came in at just $10 short of being third place. As a whole, the relay at RPI raised $82,160 to fight cancer. Of course, our success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our alumni and family who donated to our team. Special thanks goes to our top 3 fundraisers: Ryan Sinclair, EH 1273, who raised $625, Karl Chung, EH 1264, who raised $575, and Stephen Provost, EH 1226, who raised $500.
The morning after relay was also RPI’s annual Greek Awards Ceremnony, where countless awards are handed out to sororities and fraternities on campus who excel in certain aspects. Epsilon-Eta is proud to take home 4 awards from the ceremony. Brother Brian Orecchio, EH 1221, won Order of Omega Man of the Year. Brother JP Trasatti, EH 1225, won Executive Leader of the Year, and Brother Stephen Provost, EH 1226, won Greek Man of the Year. Lastly, the hard work put into the house by the actives during last semester’s and throughout the semester has culminated in winning the Housing Award at the Greek Awards Ceremony. This award goes towards the house that has put in the most effort to beautify their house. Be sure to drop by the house and congratulate the new brothers, and the award winners, as well as check out the handy work put into the house!
Stay tuned for pictures of Relay for Life, and the Awards Ceremony!
