Reunion & Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 15 – 17, 2010)

In 2010 we will celebrate alumni who have helped to shape our most recent history of LXA. If you are EH850 – EH950, we especially hope you can join us!  Many alumni who returned in 2009 were surprised and inspired by the quality programming and excitement around this newest tradition.  We hope you are able to join us and reconnect with the chapter.  Remember, all alumni are welcome!

Schedule of Events
Friday, October 15, 2010
2:30 p.m. – Campus tours lead by brothers of LXA.  Meet at the Heffner Alumni House and look for our shirts!
6:30 p.m. – Rensselaer’s Greek ChowderFest – RSE House
- We will compete in RPI’s traditional Greek ChowderFest by providing a special chowder!  Come and give us your vote!
10 p.m. – EHZ Alumni  Gathering & Alumni Ritual – 200 Sunset
- Join us at 10 p.m. for a special ritual for all alumni.  Many alumni have not participated in any type of ritual or celebration in several  years.  This exciting time will reconnect you with the chapter in a new way.  We hope you are able to make it!

Saturday, October 16, 2010
All Day - EHZ alumni are welcome to stop in anytime during the weekend of Reunion & Homecoming.  As a special privilege, alumni are welcome to park the house parking lot, right near many of the Saturday RPI activities.
4 p.m. – Cross, Crescent & Clams – Join us at the house for our newest tradition, as we clam bake BBQ that includes a variety of food, clams and drinks!  Families are welcome!  This year we will celebrate alumni from EH 850 – EH 950! – Free for all alumni and their families.

Sunday, October 17, 2010
10 a.m.  – Golf Outing – Gather up a foursome of brothers and enjoy Golf at Mill Road Golf Course.  Mill Road Golf Course is approximately 15 minutes away from campus.  Cost is $36 per person, includes 18 holes of golf.  You will be able to register for Golf on RPI’s Official Reunion & Homecoming Web site in August.

Coat of Arms Shirt Series
We invite alumni to purchase our new Coat of Arms Tee Shirts.  These shirts are being used for the Fall 2010 Recruitment, but are special enough for all of our actives and alumni to wear.    To see the shirts and to purchase online, click here.  Note:  Shirts will be on sale until September 15.  Shirts will be available for pick up at Cross, Crescent and Clams on Saturday, October 16 during Reunion & Homecoming.

Founder’s Day Alumni Weekend Celebration – (Friday, April 1 – Sunday, April 3, 2011)

Hold the date for the spring Founder’s Day Alumni Weekend in 2011.  This year we will honor many alumni and actives with several awards and honors.  This year will feature new honors and awards for our alumni and actives.  More information will be available this winter.

2010 Founder’s Day Alumni Weekend Recap:
Thank you to the 51 alumni brothers that returned to the house for Alumni Weekend 2010.  The weekend was a great success with the debut of the House Archives & Charter Room.  With the hard work of the actives, this new room now houses all of our most valued and unique pieces that have been collected over the years.
