In 2012, Epsilon-Eta Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha is excited to celebrate it’s 75th anniversary at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. To commemorate our history, the actives, advisors, and alumni are working together to create a year long celebration, complete with publications, events, and even a birthday cake. I want to nominate Brother Robert L Dominic, Colonel US Marine Corps, as an utstanding alumni of the class of 1943. Brother Dominic left RPI shortly after Pearl Harbor to enlist as a Marine. He was selected for OCS and was engaged in the battles for Iwo Jma and Taiwan. Bob maade a career of the Marines, rising to the rank of Regimental Commander. He was the first of our class to enter WWII and the lastof our class to be awarded a degree from RPI. Bob died in 2011.
